Adapted from the memoirs “Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison” by Piper Kerman, the film is about Piper Chapman, a woman having everything: house, jobs and a fiancé. Suddenly one day, she must go to prison for involvement in drug trafficking from 10 years ago with her ex gay lover. What will Piper have to do to survive in jail as well as keep her love?
